V.S.E. Beliefs

1.      The primary focus of our school is to give all students the opportunity to learn, achieve, and succeed. 

2.    The different learning styles of students should be addressed with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning. 

3.    Students need to be actively involved in problem solving, critical thinking, and producing quality work. 

4.    Learning is enhanced when students are actively engaged in the learning process. 

5.    Promoting caring attitudes and positive relationships between student and staff strengthens student’s self-esteem. 

6.    All students are valued as unique individuals with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs. 

7.    Special services and resources are required for exceptional students.

8.    All stakeholders including teachers, administrators, parents, and the community share the responsibility for setting high standards of academic achievement.

 9.    Continuous improvement is important for our school to foster students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners.
